About Firearm Safety School

Casey Fuller developed his passion for firearms and the outdoors at an early age, growing up on a hobby farm in Galesburg. Under the guidance of his father, Casey began learning firearm safety and proper handling techniques while hunting, building a strong foundation rooted in responsibility and respect.

Casey attended Missouri Military Academy, where he was actively involved in the ROTC program, further reinforcing discipline, structure, and leadership—principles that continue to guide his instruction today.

With years of professional experience, Casey has worked with individuals, community colleges, churches, and private institutions, providing practical, safety-focused training to students of all experience levels.

After relocating from Illinois to Naples over 10 years ago, Casey has continued his mission of educating responsible firearm owners. He also serves as a lead member of his church’s safety and security team, applying his knowledge to help protect and serve his community.

Gene Standford brings a lifetime of hands-on firearm experience and a deep respect for safety, discipline, and responsible use.

Raised in Mount Vernon on a 4,000-acre farm, Gene developed a strong foundation in firearm safety and outdoor skills at an early age. Growing up hunting and working outdoors, he learned firsthand the importance of proper firearm handling, awareness, and responsibility.

Gene has a passion for shooting sports and continues to stay active in skeet, trap, and sporting clays, sharpening both his skillset and understanding of firearms in a controlled and disciplined environment.

He proudly served our country in the 82nd Airborne Division, where he was trained to the highest standards and achieved Expert qualification in both rifle and sidearm. His military background reinforces his commitment to safety, precision, and structured instruction.

Gene brings a practical, real-world approach to training, helping students build confidence while emphasizing safe firearm handling and responsible ownership.
